Re: Question about Marriage and such
First a post about male bulges, now this... It had to happen eventually :-) Wouldn't it be interesting if a game used more than the male/female binary model for reproduction? A third gender a.la. Alien Nation or any number of other scifi/fantasy worlds have had would be interesting: http://imdb.com ...

Re: how do you modify your forum profile?

It's obscure -- took me a while to find it and I work for a Web design/marketing company where installing forums ...

Re: Before leaving newbie island...
Currently, I'm building my swiss bank account so I can get a good set of armor to replace my newbie armor. I know I'll need it once I venture onto the mainland. I'm currently dual-wielding a q10 sword and q10 dagger, have about 350 hp, and seem to be holding my own easily against single weenie (puny ...

Re: Any way to just type in an emote?
Just so you know, you can toggle the chat window (show/hide) with the x key. Press K for a list of all the keys. Yeah, but the toggle x or k keys don't work if you don't know how to untarget the chat window... I can't tell you how many times i've typed a 5 into the chat field trying to increased ...

Re: Other than the stanza system...
I had the same reaction to SWG. "Now what?" Go for Jedi? Too tedious / time consuming / boring learing professions i didn't care to learn. Then I realized, unless you're invested in the galactic civil war (Imps. vs. Rebs.) then there isn't anything to do. Immediately, I'd say form a guild, build ...

Re: Any way to just type in an emote?
So tell me, how do you "untarget" the chat window after you have been chatting? Having key commands unmodified (typing "m" for map instead of control-m, for instance) is a pain. If I don't have the chat window active and start typing thinking I'm chatting, windows pop up and down rapidly and leave ...
