Question about Marriage and such
I remember reading that eventually players will be able to marry and have children. I am curious if there will be a gay aspect to that also. Meaning will women be able to marry women and men able to marry men?

First a post about male bulges, now this... It had to happen eventually 
Wouldn't it be interesting if a game used more than the male/female binary model for reproduction? A third gender a.la. Alien Nation or any number of other scifi/fantasy worlds have had would be interesting:

Otherwise, I'm sure the Matis can devise a method for generating offspring from any life source materials. We're just good like that.

Would it still be a gay marriage if a guy who plays a girl marries a girl who plays a girl? How about a marriage with a guy who plays a girl and a guy who plays a guy? Does it all really matter? How about marrying your pack meklouk?

I guess I cant not comment ...
I am a guy .. In all MMOGs/RPGs/fighting games/../.. that you can select gender I have played female characters. This started out with fighting games since the chics were always the best. It ended up as a traditional type of thing.
Back in my later UO days while I was still RPing a good amount, I was often mistaken as an RL female while the RL females I use to play with everyone figured they were guys. Well one day a guy who was involved in the RP community ask me IC to marry him. OMG you do not know what I went though attempting to figure out if he knew I was a guy RL or not and if he would be freaked out by it. I never hid the truth, it wasnt uncommon for someone to refer to me in the male gender, yet still I wasnt sure. In the end he was ok with it.. it was all in RP and we did make a really good team. While people were around we would RP the married couple and when no one was around it was just like playing with a good friend. Since then I have always be very reluctant to hit female on character creation, but I still do it.
The point of all that is just to say that it isnt always easy to play a female character when you are a guy... and BTW I am not gay. I have 2 kids and live with my GF who sadly does not like to play PC games

Well with RPing marriage, surely it doesn't matter if there's in-game provision for it?
And as for pregnancy... well... I'm guessing it's to the Kami, Karavan and Jena to give gay couples kids, huh? Biologically impossible otherwise...
