Its upto you how decide to credit your spells. Be it HP, SAP, Range or Time or a mixture of them all. You could use range and time stanza's by themselves and you won't lose any hp/sap. Albeit, you will have very close range spells that take a long time to cast!! Obviously if you have more sap than ...

I *now* have a full understanding of how to use it.

Can I just clarify something with using fear and levelling Magic offensive... From my experience of fear, whenever I cast it - they just run away - only to return a short while afterwards.
