What does Create Sap Crystal 3 do over 2, etc?

Thanx
After enchanting the item with a crystallized spell, you need to load it with sap. To do this, you use sap crystals. To create sap crystals, you need the "Create Sap Crystal" action from the Magician Trainer (or someone that has the action). Once you create the sap crystal, you right-click on it and choose "Reload Right Hand" to load the item with sap.

This sap is part of what is used when using the enchantment so you'll need to reload it fairly often. If you plan on using enchantments a lot, it's pretty handy to keep up on the Create Sap Crystal action as it's a lot easier than getting them from someone else.

Oh, and I forgot to mention, the higher level Create Sap Crystal action creates crystals with more sap. The L1 action creates a sap crysal with only 5 sap so it takes a LOT of them to load anything but a very low level weapon. L2 creates a crystal with 20 sap, L3=50 sap.

Can I just clarify something with using fear and levelling Magic offensive...

From my experience of fear, whenever I cast it - they just run away - only to return a short while afterwards.

Is this the way it should work or am I doing something wrong? Because I am trying to figure out how to level in Magic Off.

My magic def is at L67 but sadly, my magic off is badly lagging at L40 and I need a way to boost it.

I know how to enchant my gloves with fear and use them, and I know from xp that if I kill the mob using an enchantment I get no xp points.

I'm just curious to know how to use fear to level up my magic off soloing.

Can anyone help?

i am just a lvl 39 mag but that is my offensive magic, my defensive magic is about 31 or so.

the spell fear is supposed to work as you described. The mob will run away and return. This works quite well with soloing, as long as you are not trying to tackle a much higher mob then you.

I usually get about 1k per kill when i solo, some xp a bit high some a bit lower. But rarely do i die and i do need to spend some time regening sap, but i take this into account so i do not become frustrated with sitting. If you like nonstop killing you will not enjoy killing in this manner.

So i cast acid or a cold spell on a mob if it is far away from me, as it comes toward me i cast fear, some times twice in a row to help insure that the mob will run away. Now this part you must learn to gage for yourself, some times i have time to get 1 off before the mob hits me and sometimes 2. Used to be that i would throw 2 acids hits one right after another, but have found it is usually safer to toss one damage spell then the fear spell

After this initial contact with the mob, i pretty much just continue to hit it with damage spell until it begins to return to me, at which time i will try to hit it with a fear spell before it gets back to me. If fear does not stick, it depends on how much hp the mob has and how much i have as to whether i try to just kill it and take the damage it dishes out to me or if i try to cast fear on it while it is hitting me till it sticks then kill the mob.

if the mob is close by sometimes i cast fear first then do the damage spells, but mostly i like to be farther away at first contact.

Good luck

ok, I understand what you are saying.

From my experience of fear, and this was cast using my amps (not enchantment), was that the mob would run away until the "link" was broken - usually by the act of an acid cast - in which case, the mob would run back and attack.

Is this link still formed via an enchantment? Again, does it last as long as no other action is performed?

Thanks again.

Enchanted Fear works the same as regular fear, same duration, etc, only difference is resist level is higher for enchant.

One thing to note about sap crystals, they cost dapper = to the level of the sap, so if the sap crystal is 30, it costs 30 dappers to create 1 sap crystal.

Higher level sap crystals mean you can recharge your weapon faster.

One really good use for the enchanted weapons for melee is the increased damage, you can have a warrior with heavy armor able to use an enchanted weapon to deal magical damage during battle while attaking normally.

Very usefull to deal more damage.

You just need to learn what works for you.
