Oh please, dont give me that its you computer, not the game crap.mikwana wrote:This is a problem caused by your connection, not the game. The 'speedy' charge by mobs only occurred when the mob didn't have a direct line to you (ie:you shot it from behind a tree), and that has been fixed.
It's hardly 2d. True, you can't jump. However, jumping in most games is no where near realistic, and personally, I'd rather not have it along with not worrying about things like falling to your death, having to jump to get to certain areas, etc, than having people being able to jump two meters high and ten long....
Myself and many others who currently use range would have to dispute this claim. Range fighting works fine. Could it use some specific stanzas? sure. Could some ammo damage/weight/mat cost be tweaked? Certainly. However, it's still a viable form of fighting, especially in some circumstances and with some play styles. If you don't like range fighting, then don't do it, it's as easy as that. You arn't put at an advantage or disadvantage if you don't, same as if you don't use magic.
As above, the 'rubber banding with damage' is a factor of your connection/computer, not of the gameplay.
I have and/or playing a few MORPGS at the moment.
EQ, EQ II, City of Heroes, and was in the World of Warcraft beta.
(have played AO, UO and...Horizoions.).
None of them (except for the AO) really had this type of problem. I am not talking about Lag. If they did, it diffently wasnt in the game 2-3 months after retail
Its not my computer, espcially the one I have now.
Its the game, its a lousy game design as it is right now, kid yourself all you want if you dont think so.
I will check in from time to time to see how the game is shaping up, but I already know the outcome.
