It's hardly 2d. True, you can't jump. However, jumping in most games is no where near realistic, and personally, I'd rather not have it along with not worrying about things like falling to your death, having to jump to get to certain areas, etc, than having people being able to jump two meters high and ten long....

Myself and many others who currently use range would have to dispute this claim. Range fighting works fine. Could it use some specific stanzas? sure. Could some ammo damage/weight/mat cost be tweaked? Certainly. However, it's still a viable form of fighting, especially in some circumstances and with some play styles. If you don't like range fighting, then don't do it, it's as easy as that. You arn't put at an advantage or disadvantage if you don't, same as if you don't use magic.

As above, the 'rubber banding with damage' is a factor of your connection/computer, not of the gameplay.
Oh please, dont give me that its you computer, not the game crap.

I have and/or playing a few MORPGS at the moment.

EQ, EQ II, City of Heroes, and was in the World of Warcraft beta.

(have played AO, UO and...Horizoions.).

None of them (except for the AO) really had this type of problem. I am not talking about Lag. If they did, it diffently wasnt in the game 2-3 months after retail

Its not my computer, espcially the one I have now.

Its the game, its a lousy game design as it is right now, kid yourself all you want if you dont think so.

I will check in from time to time to see how the game is shaping up, but I already know the outcome.

why check if you know the outcome?

and ive said it already thousands of times it is also a matter of taste.

call me a fanboy or whatever you like but i really like this game.
if you dont, fine your opinion but why is it neccesary to keep on bashing it.

you have made your point. now plz move on. i understand that this forum is here to inform people of the bad and good sides of ryzom. but everytime that someone says a few good things about it there is some unregistered person saying or:A stfu , B the game will die soon, C go play your game fanboy D game X is a lot better dont buy this game it sucks.

i mean cmon if you really hate it that much then plz do an effort to bash it properly.
if you can't then dont or do it once to get it of your chest.

when i see these posts i wander if it is your goal in life. what do you gain of trying to keep people away from this game.
plz tell me because if you are earning money wih it i want a cut of your pay.

it was just a question.

but i dont think you are gaining anything you just want to get back at them.
hmm ah well.

and yes true i was dissapointed to about the fact there are no outposts yet.
but on the other hand our guild still doesnt have an apartment (the shame ah)
so we cant get an outpost yet anyway.

and i was talking about the unregistered people who are just plain annoying.
not about the disgruntled ones.

i just wanted to say what i said once and indeed i will try to move on *cries*
good bye all of you unregistered and stfupers and this game is better then that game 'ers.

bye bye
salut
dag

and all those other things that people use to say goodbye

First:

I never said I HATED the game, I said it was lousy and should not be a play for pay game.

Second:

What do I get out of this? Since I am a new player with a fresh view..maybe I can save someone the money and time on a game they will not be happy with.

All the signs are in this game for it going on the "going offline" list.

Have seen it before, and its comming here. I give it a year or so..then its gone.

Oh, and as far as me posting here, I will do so as much as I like.

I am sure that if I dont break any fourm posting rules, I can contiune to do so.
