Sorry Glipe, I didn't mean to be petty. It's just that there are significant differences between the US and most European nations in laws on free speech and slander. I just didn't want the wrong impression given of US laws. Another, tiny correction, in the US, I believe that you don't get prosecuted for defamation. An accusation of defamation is a civil complaint where someone can bring a lawsuit against you. Assault and battery, such as punching someone in the face, on the other hand, is a criminal matter.
