As it is now, altering the zoom allows some unrealistic/exploitive abilities to players.
By making an official zoom improvement, these can be controlled or removed.
This will make some players unhappy, and put more work on the dev team, so its a question of how big a problem is it ?

Re: Guild Offers
OotN sometimes run guild events on Silan, so many have alts there. Presumably other guilds do the same. A suggestion. Make it not possible to guild invite free-trialers.. this is so obvious I hope GF have already got it in place. while guild membership might help new players enjoy Silan more, It is ...

Re: mature player seeks guild
Dont know about the TS/Ventrilo issue, but the from what I know of them the Fluffies are good people.. the only problem is that they are Kami-neutrals, so if you are a bit more discerning and realise the Karavan are our best hope for saving Hominkind from soul consumption and enslavement by fuzzy ...

Re: Game Inequities (Non-PvP)
Derailing this thread back to the original post, The Lakeland cities are an absolute waste of time to get to unless you are Karavan aligned. this means that almost no one uses the higher level tryker merchants, which might explain why so many trykers shop in the forest.. Min Cho is almost as bad ...

Re: I just joined as a subscriber
I think you're missing a point. The planet is expanding When you visit the Prime Roots, you can see the remains of what used to be towns on the surface. The roots have grown outwards, and covered them up, creating a new outer layer of the planet. Matter can not be created from nothing. If the ...

Pero the Fyros have Frahar, the Matis killed all their ancestor species (momos ? )(thats how you deal with embarassing relatives ! :D ) On a previous thread it was suggested the Homin races were created by ...

Re: I just joined as a subscriber
((OOC mode now)) Where does the lore talk about this bit? I can't say I've ever read it, though I confess that I could have missed it. If it's in the writings of either the Kami or tha Karavan, it is obviously suspect (IC). If it's something Nevrax/GF have written, then it can be taken at face ...

Re: I just joined as a subscriber
All the Kami arguements and suchlike, about protecting nature and fitting in to it... fall over in a heap and crash and burn when you consider that Atys itself is a created artifact, an engineered world. The Kami, with their blind obedience to a faulty first premise, attempts to fit homins into a ...

Re: I just joined as a subscriber
from a thread posted long, long ago http://forums.ryzom.com/forum/showthread.php?t=24248& --As another crazy theory, inspired by some earlier posts in this thread and other snippets of lore ( some now vanished ). My perspective on this is as a neutral, and that both "powers" are lying to us for ...
