Re: Lets Sink that Dapper
How many hi level players actually loot unless it's needed to initiate a spawn ? Depends on what you're killing. Level 240+ critters are often looted in my experience, and not just to make them spawn. Surely there's more than one person in the guild who could benefit from the mats? Kill two birds ...

Re: Lets Sink that Dapper
... I almost hope you're trying to be silly with your post, particularly at the end :) dictionary.com defines currency as "something that is used as a medium of exchange; money" and economy as "the management of the resources of a community ... esp. with a view to its productivity" and "the ...

Re: Lets Sink that Dapper
Not really. An apartment is 2000 bulk, a packer is 500, a mount is a transportation medium with 100 bulk. A "keep it in the stable" packer is needed fairly soon. Even still, no one -needs- a packer (or an apartment) to play the game. I will agree 100% that the extra storage space is enormously ...

Re: Lets Sink that Dapper
In any real or fantasy world I can remember reading, playing , viewing, imagining , etc.... the local "currency" could buy just about anything. Not in Ryzom. Yes and no. The "currency" used in societies in exchange for goods has some intrinsic value. Whether that's because it is valuable, rare, or ...

Re: Lets Sink that Dapper
Increasing the price of tools won't be quite so bad. Some tools are given for free on Silan and they're not sellable. (I think all tools needed in the Silan quests should be given for free by the NPC who is asking for the goods). Once you wear out the tools, you have (theoretically) earned enough ...

Re: So what now? Assault Arispotle?
This is what we have built on Cho, a community where when someone needs help, we do so. This is a very good thing. And I agree that it is hard, coming from that kind of environment, to believe you will experience the same kind of thing in a different environment around different people. Now to the ...

Re: Do we have the same rights?
I've played many (US-based) games where the population had those from Portugal (well, Portuguese-speaking people) as the second highest, following those from North America who spoke English. One that comes to mind immediately was also a browser-based game, like GF's other games. Portuguese sounds ...

Re: Meeting the Tribes
Dang. That stinkie. With many tribes starting at -66 and having a cap at -50, then tehre doesn't seem to be any reason to pursue those. If it's EXACTLY -50, you're safe. But if it's even -50.000001, they will attack. The fame display rounds what you see, so you don't see the actual value. There are ...

Re: Thank You Gameforge
Well take a step back and think about what you said there a min.... Removing the ability to have OP wars is a bad thing for the game.... Ahh, you (and others, it seems) have selective reading skills. Let me help by quoting my most recent post (previous posts also say the same things): Would you ...

Re: Thank You Gameforge
That's right, it isn't a big problem. The only reason it has caused a problem now is because it is the same guild at the same OP! Idiocy for making the Honest mistake twice, or exploiting to save your OP are both good reasons to have the guild in question be penalised! But as I expected, Monday ...
