Cheers,

Shaded, a member of the german community took it upon herself to make a website with a public bug tracking system, where we, the players, are in control about what is going wrong and what could be better.

It works like this: Every player can make an account and send in Bugs, these are then rated as "Unconfirmed". Now when 3 other players have voted that this bug does exist it will be rated as "New".

Other ratings are:
Reported - Bug that has been reported via In-Game Ticket
Officially confirmed - Bug that has been confirmed by Nevrax or a member of your CSR team, and is either already known or forwarded to Nevrax
Resolved - Bug was fixed by Nevrax
Verified - The submitter of the bug has verified the solution as being satisfying
Closed - The Bug is officially fixed
these ratings can be changed by the original submitter or the admin.
This system is helpful in avoiding double submitted tickets, which only get you "it is already known" as response. Thus we don't only save ourselves work, but also our CSR-teams, who can then work faster and more efficient.

To make this work well many people should register so we get many opinions and votes on bugs. It will also be possible to send bugs that got many votes to Nevrax as priority bugs.

As a closing note: Please write a very clear title and add a detailed descriptions of the bugs, detailed in a way that someone who is completely new to Ryzom can understand what the bug is about. Also try to use proper grammar and spelling. ;)

nice one, nevrax should have done this, but since they dident someone else did...

hopefully ppl will use this site and we will get more bugs fixed! ^^

lol, this is meant to be a running track record for nevrax, constant reminder when bugs get too old and also to prevent multiple reporting of bugs, so the players and the csr have less work =)

Do you want bugs like broken teleporters? There are a few in the outer reaches of Zora, one in Nexus and at least one that I know of near Kami Oasis in Fyros. We've bugged them when we ran into them. Should I add them to the list?

by broken teleporters do you mean that they have no ticket for sale? cause if thats the case then there are some in the tryker outlands as well.

any bug is welcome, anything that is broken with ryzom, this database is also meant as warning, so newbies and oldbies undertaking new endeavours won't run into bugs unprepared
also for any bug you submit please make sure to report it, not forgetting to set the status while doing so, and also to update it again when any official from either nevrax or any of the support teams has confirmed it

as for bugs with multiple manifestations of limted number: submit it once and then list occurances you know of in the comments, also note that you can as well comment other bugs

Great concept, I'll be using it a lot...thanks for the link!

And shame, shame, shame on Themis Group, Nevrax, and the other outsourced CSRs for not providing this service. Absolutely ridiculous that they couldn't a few hours putting together a website on their own and it took the dedication of a player to do so.

actually, i don't put much shame on them, our CM frankly said he was afraid of doing something like that as it usually means trouble, and he watched it with dread when shaded posted it, but after a while gladly stickied it =)
