have speed run 4 andf I can out run aggro range on a low level dingo
only way it seams usfull is speed run and hit a ticket for teleport.
Speed run bugged or just usless ?
Re: Speed run bugged or just usless ?
I've found it semi useful in some cases, but I agree, mobs in the game move way too fast overal. The only mob I've outrun is a bodoc I hit last night by mistake that was way over my head. It gave up after I hit speed run.ariakimt wrote:have speed run 4 andf I can out run aggro range on a low level dingo

Speed doesn't last very long at all, and mobs seem to rubberband to you. The bodoc that I was outrunning was very far behind me, yet it hit me one last time before it gave up.

I seemed to notice the mobs giving up earlier if you Disengage them before jetting.
As for the warping, I didn't notice the mob warping closer to me, I noticed me rubberbanding back to the mob.

I have Speed Run 1. I don't really know about aggro ranges, but it definitely gets me out of hitting range for a long time at least... I've always been able to get away and jump in a lake.

Helps a lot only if you can run to town. Thats with health boost and invinsiblity and you can save a bit of Death points when the gaurds kill it lol. Otherwise if you are far away from town it's pointless.
There is way to much rubberbanding with speed so you dont really make it to far from the creature chasing you.

Re: Speed run bugged or just usless ?
Agreed. I've found it to be a worthless attribute, for the most part--unless you're able to make it back to town. The continual rubberbanding--where a creature I've supposedly sped away from suddenly materializes right behind me--is ridiculous. It's a shame, too, since Speed Run's ineffectiveness effectively elimnates any incentive to attack creatures significantly higher than you, since there's no hope of escape. Every combat encounter shouldn't be a "Win or Die" proposition.
Re: Speed run bugged or just usless ?
Gingos, and all other variety of dog run really fast. All mobs in PR run at warp speeds. SO speed is rather useless agnst those. Anything else will be left far behind when u use speed, or they will become fuzzy shapes and u become hyper.....
Am i supposed to write something witty here ?
Re: Speed run bugged or just usless ?
only way to outrun stuff is to increase your speed factor above 100%. When it was bugged you could almost outrun stuff at 120%. If increaseing that attribute was possible would make running easier.
