Ooops, sorry about the mistake on the whole gender thing. Well I just reinstalled, and the same blue white DOS window came up again I stopped it and ran the ryzom.recover.exe thingie in the folder it says it is downloading the patches the right place. I will see if I take as long this time to download the patches. I hope not, 5 hours of patching is wearing my nerves as is.

Well, just for fun, as this was and might be the only bit of it I will have tonight it seems. I clicked on the ryzom.client.exe file located in the folder where SoR is installed. It came up with this wonderful message.
File "C:/Program Files/Ryzom/Client.cfg" not found. Not sure if that means a whole hell of a lot, but hey it can hurt to add a bit more dirt to this pile of dirt I seem to be building on a game i just wanted to play all day before I went to work tonight, but fear not I have pleanty of 49.00 dollar games I can go buy * looks in his thin wallet* /cry

Have you emailed tech support from the email in the post stickied? They were very fast and answered my question in under an hour.
