I love listening to the complaining and threats about quiting. I think its funny as can be. I dont program games. I dont program anything. However, I can well imagine that this sort of game is rather on the complex side to create and can appreciate the notion that perhaps it is not easy to get things right. I will continue to enjoy the game. I have not had a bad day yet and I will continue to enjoy the complaining. Keep it up, its cheap entertainment for those of us who are enjoying the game. Heck it even makes me feel a bit stronger being surrounded by so many wimps. *grin*

Ah, but now it's not just one bad patch, it's 3 in a row that have not satisfied their desires. You can say to heck withthem all you want but when the server shuts down and Neverax goes bankrupt you will be left holding your manhood in your own hands. I for one hopr that doesn't happen, i like this game i really do, but I am not having fun like you are. good for you more power to you, but I'm not, and as much as I like to pretend to be a nice person, i oculd care less if you're having fun and I'm not. Neverax could very well be done for, atleast in the American MMo community. Who knows one month from now you could be logging on to a joint, all-language server talking smack about all those that left becausethey were sissies, because of just one patch. And then all eight of you could go hunting together.

Did you really believe you should be able to duo Ocyx at level 70? I did not. I still did it though. Did you really think harvesting for 9k was how the game was intended? Of course not, but many of us did. If these are not exploits what are they? "Grey areas of not yet addressed sub optimal overpowered stanzas to be redesigned later" Get a career in politics.

The first patch one was harsh, but I survived it fine. The rebalance mini patch made it a dream. It is fine as it is. If they make it easier fine, I will play it that way. My point is they don't have to make it easier. The game is not about bashing things at no risk and becoming a super power. That I would not play. I like the risk, I like the challenge.

Finally if you think this is serious, look at the rest of the forums where people seriously argue that they should be able to kill level 200 mobs at level 70. That is beyond serious, it is sad.

Sorry, but I totally disagree here. As a Mage, Affliction based and healer support, I should reasonably be able to combat a mob within 10 levels below me in a masterful use of my arsenal of spells.

I SHOULD be able to Fear them, Nuking them outbound and reFearing inbound.
I SHOULD be able to Slow their runspeed, Damage over time and keep my distance in a known safe area.
I SHOULD be able to Root them in place and Nuke from a distance where I can repeat the procdure.

There is no way of accomplishing any of this under the current "rebalancing". You know that too. I find it arrogant to think that just because YOUR style of gameplay is relatively unaffected, that we all should do what you do, be like you and give up our individuality and persona.

I agree with a previous poster. Now that the population is thoroughly purged of the greater population, maybe you should make up for the financial deficit so you can prolong your "challenge".

Spaero--

I have to completely disagree with you. I am a caster myself, and have many caster guildmates. We are all doing fine. We had a newbie go from lvl 1 magic to level 16 magic in approx 2-3 hours on his own while on the mainland. Our high level casters are routinely doing exactly what you described in your post. They fear, they hit, they fear again, and yes they were solo-ing quite a few of these mobs. Having someone along is preferred for that occasion when things go amiss, but 2 can do it easy. (In fact we wiped over 500K dp for our lvl 80 mage doing just this.)

I know Jivalax personally and know that she would never insist anyone copy her play style or think that hers is the only way. There may be many play styles that work, but this one works for us. You don't have to use it.. not at all.. but if yours doesn't work.. don't complain. Oh.. btw.. our play style was seriously affected... We just changed it to accommodate what was going on. In all games there will be changes. It is a matter of adapting to them if you like or not adapting to them.. and leave. It is always your choice.
