Did you really believe you should be able to duo Ocyx at level 70? I did not. I still did it though. Did you really think harvesting for 9k was how the game was intended? Of course not, but many of us did. If these are not exploits what are they? "Grey areas of not yet addressed sub optimal overpowered stanzas to be redesigned later" Get a career in politics.
The first patch one was harsh, but I survived it fine. The rebalance mini patch made it a dream. It is fine as it is. If they make it easier fine, I will play it that way. My point is they don't have to make it easier. The game is not about bashing things at no risk and becoming a super power. That I would not play. I like the risk, I like the challenge.
Finally if you think this is serious, look at the rest of the forums where people seriously argue that they should be able to kill level 200 mobs at level 70. That is beyond serious, it is sad.
Sorry, but I totally disagree here. As a Mage, Affliction based and healer support, I should reasonably be able to combat a mob within 10 levels below me in a masterful use of my arsenal of spells.
I SHOULD be able to Fear them, Nuking them outbound and reFearing inbound.
I SHOULD be able to Slow their runspeed, Damage over time and keep my distance in a known safe area.
I SHOULD be able to Root them in place and Nuke from a distance where I can repeat the procdure.
There is no way of accomplishing any of this under the current "rebalancing". You know that too. I find it arrogant to think that just because YOUR style of gameplay is relatively unaffected, that we all should do what you do, be like you and give up our individuality and persona.
I agree with a previous poster. Now that the population is thoroughly purged of the greater population, maybe you should make up for the financial deficit so you can prolong your "challenge".
