My Ryzom 3ding: Dyron lake house

Post by browserice »

I started 3ding the Dyron lake house on Fyros. I will put other links in there to show the progress. This is an on going process and expect it to be kind of slow as I do not have much free time. I have other Ryzom 3ding ideas in mind that I have not started (if I do, they will be in a separate thread).

I am not a 3d expert.

1) Basic walls and ceilling

2)

hobbies : 3d design, news about game designs, virtual reality

Still thinking about doing a full 3d rendering of Fyros (call it Ryzom 3.0 if you like).

nice idea! you should maybe improve the lightning a little bit. you shouldnt use that much of ambient light. its better to define some light sources on the walls etc and set the overall mood of the scene. good lightning also can hide some texture issues. you should also place somewhere in the room a block that represent a homin (his high and width) just to get better scaling orientation. just my 2c :)

ps: oh and don't use that much of bumpmapping ^^

The floor looks like wood made out of plastic.

Lol !

The objects seen in the screenshots are not the final versions. It is an on-going process and like I said, I am not a professional neither an expert. I am opened to any comments to improve anything (already took some).
