First I suggest you download the client, and start to play At the moment the game is still free to play, so except some time you don't loose anything.

The customer support representatives (CSRs) you may encounter on the servers are divided in Guides and Gamemasters, so I don't dare to say there are always GMs online on every server, but usually you will be able to contact a CSR. Especially during prime time. I really appreciate to discuss bug tickets I wrote within of 5-10 minutes after sending it in game.

The only hacks I currently remeber are a few isolated incidents of botting that was dealt with.

The only thing you should know is, that the gameplay in the starter isle is rather quest driven, while the gameplay on the main land isn't (atleast at the moment)

first off: nice to have you here

1) there are lots of GM's and Guides per server. During quiet time there may not always be one online, but in general i'd estimate there's a coverage of at least 16 hours per day of one or more Guides/GM's online.
2) Currently i know of no real hacks. If the CSR find one they deal with the situation.
3) as i said above, there are no current hacking problems, thus i would assume the measures are strong enough, lol.
4) Customer support is awesome, if any Guide or GM is on, and you send in a ticket, you are contacted within 5-10 minutes like thlau said.
5) main issue atm is a need of more players, so tell your friends about this game

furthermore:
- there have recently been a couple of patches, each of which containing a long list of bug fixes, developpement has restarted.
- Awesome community that offers loads of help to new players if they ask for it (sometimes even too much help or if they don't ask for it lol). As long as you're friendly to people ingame you'll have the time of your life
- If you RP players in this game don't look at you like some kind of alien, but accept it and mostly react in character as well.

Lol I have the worst luck I just blew up my computer with windows Xp after trying to fix a nividia Video Card issues I upgraded my direct x and that just took my rig off the edge.

Now Im re downloading the game installed VISTA (cool) and now I'm listening to Alex Jones while posting this and waiting for the game to Finish.

If anyone hates globalism you have good reason to. hehe

Ugh, yeah DX10 on XP is something of a bummer...
If you try Vista now (I very much like it) do not, I repeat NOT, try to install the NVidia Direct Graphics Add-On.
I can´t remember right now what it was called, but it was supposed to let you do even more graphics tweaking from your system control.
It blew all my drivers straight to hell on two installs.
So leave its until it´s really, really ready to work with Vista *LOL*
Just use the latest normal drivers, they work like a charm.

I can see why you left CO now, but still the unfriendly smiley looks scary up there

I run the client smoothly on Vista with Nvidia. You may need to tweak a bit to run the client in OpenGL, but it works fine for me.
