Okay, I havn´t gotten that far yet. LvL 19 Hunter *hides*ambika wrote:I read EXACTLY what you wrote and you're wrong. In outlands (shadowmoon valley to be exact) there are winged creatures that fly from above and DO swoop down to attack you. They're not just at head height...they're actually high above....you can't see them unless you're looking upwards (if you play like me and you tend to be viewing everything at around head height).
I'm not arguing Ryzom should have this at all. I prefer Sehraci's post about making it only activated when needed (dammit, I hate walking all the way around a fence to get into yrk. ). I honestly don't see how a person would just say no to a game just for the lack of jumping. *shrugs*
But anyways, for me it´s not a Game "maker/breaker" if I can jump or not.
While it sometimes gets on my nerves to run around some realtively small obstacle I can live with it.
And I absolutely agree with the lag issue.
If I understand it correctly it would mean ,in order to implement jumping/flying we´d have not only to scale down OP Battles, wich are fun to watch even for a Non-Participant, but also downgrade the Graphics so that the system strain would be lowered, and well... The last thing I want is Ayts in WoW Graphics. *shudder*
