I agree with what DT is saying,

The larger more established KA guilds and even those not so large are pretty much catered for already, so we have no real 'need' to expand our territories.

Like jacko said, some people would probably like to dominate ops 100% for RP purposes, others would probably support attacks just for the fun of the battle, and others, im sure, would prefer to avoid aiding more attacks in an attempt to let the kamis faction recover.

I think as is, weve just come to a natural stand still. The OP declarations have slowed down massively, so in turn there are no retaliatory attacks. I speak for myself as always, but I think one of the few things that would stir the KA into a unified push for total domination would be the kamis unleashing a flurry of fake/horribly timed attacks, but seeing as no one has the inclination to do this I think that the situation will on the whole remain pretty stagnant. Atleast until the kamis start claiming back their (rightful?) outposts :)

I've seen two KA posts referencing "timing" of attacks, and mentioning that "badly timed" attacks will inspire a flurry of KA aggression...

If a Guild in the US attacks a Guild in Europe, should the American Guild choose a time best for the KA simply because that's what the KA wants?

I am curious about this... I sort of read that as a threat. "Don't declare on one of our OP's when it's not convenient for us, or we'll take all the outposts".

Am I reading that correctly?

I'm just trying to get a handle on how serious people take their politics regarding OP's, not exactly ready to declare on anyone. ;) But can you see how that sounded?

Yeah, it wasnt meant as a threat. More an ackowledgement that things are more sportsmanlike than they once were, and hopefully that will continue.

It's possible to purposefully declare attacks for times that are decidedly awkward for as many people as possible, the xmas bonanza being an extreme example of this. And hey, if you can muster the support to do it then why not :) But to do that, and then not actually turn up, or turn up with barely enough people to kill 3 guards? Shame on you.

It's that sort of thing im warning against, the sort of thing that would fray the patience of those who are trying to be conscientious, and currently would not support further KA expansion. If they have to turn up at 3am to defend an ally a couple of times, only to sit there for 2 hours, you can appreciate how attitudes can change.

Anyway im not trying to make a big issue out of this, was only a passing comment, just explainin my views to andarr now :)

That reminds me of a story of a Karavan crazy Fyros lady who singlehandedly attacked an Outposts, only to be shot right in front of the defenders, half alive and delirious (even more than when attacking no doubt), singing a song completely out of tone. :p

Granted, it's not the same.
