My point is it HAS stopped. You're admitting it has stopped. Don't obfuscate the point. There MUST be controlling measures in action so don't talk about it like there aren't.

I'm not here to discuss what those factors are, its not pertinent to the topic.

By your standards there aren't any. At least if you applied them evenly.

They're, in the current climate, delaying measures - unless there's some sea change. From the looks of Cho that may be a further destabilising factor upon the already weaker side, whereas if a lot of these returning players had returned to Arispotle we might finally - at least temporarily - see parity and a possible reversal back to equilibrium.

Not really, friends and Allies have helped them when they've come under attack from Kami aggression and they have simply returned the favor. Then you and your friends lable them as part of the evil empire, or rather 'affiliates'.

Anyway, the point is theses nothing happened for months. Both sides have tried.

Your feedback loop theory is proven false by two situations we have seen. First, the Kamists started with 14 outposts, Karavan with 11, and Neutrals with 3. So if your feedback loop actually worked, the Kamists should have grown stronger and come to dominate the server. Second, recently the Kamist side (including various allies) was growing stronger. Clearly, more new homins were joining the underdog faction and also some homins have been changing sides. The last two declarations in the Void (Apostles and RotS) were very closely matched. The Apostles came within a hair of winning a Zo-kian. I say that from personal experience - the defending teams fighting the npcs were extremely close to being wiped out at threshold 8 or 9. (That battle was one of the best ever. :) ) Hence, I believe that the Kamist side would have started winning outposts soon. Of course, with the opening of Cho, all bets are off.

You're missing the important factor that the initial land grab included all the people that didn't like PvP, because it was PvE.

Calling it the Kami side is still misleading, it takes the Kami, politically motivated Tryker, mercenaries, 'turncoats' and players who are simply OOC concerned just to match during a defence, still. Void was close, that's the first time there's been anything like that in forever though, and look what it's taken.

Theres been several close fights before if you care to recall, perhaps your forgetting the many false declarations where ofcourse it was all one sided. :p

Jayce, give it a rest.
Like it or not I am neutral in game and out of game I'm concerned with what's best for the long term future of Ryzom. There IS an imbalance, the problem is the situations are different on different servers. The timezone problem is a major contributor to our issues and similar, but different problems do occur on the other servers.

Stop trying to score points and propagandise _all_ the time and join me in trying to think of some possible solutions to put forward. Please?

lol!!! Crackin' me up...

The thing is most people are happy with the current system, your just being loud enough all on your own to make it seem not. You want things changed for yourself, I'm not suggesting anything to 'fix' it because I like it how it is. :p
