Everyone sees an improvement as something that makes their own (and like minded folks) gameplay better. The problem is we are not all alike... While I would like to see most everything here added in some way, I don't want it being done before what "I" want added first.

This is why having as many options as posable is the key.

Of course... finishing the features that seem unfinished (guild hall, for example) would be nice too. Better chat system (make the tells each have their own tab, not their own windows). That sort of thing. ;)

But... for all intents and purposes... so long as the game isn't unbalanced, and the existing player base gets to keep what they already have (playstyle/feature set), I see nothing wrong with new content and options including some quest/mission content.

I really like each tell conversation getting it's own window. Seems like a much nicer system then the tells being mixed in with other chat or having a seperate tab that I'll accidently just ignore!

The problem is that having too wide appeal will make the community horrible.

How big is your monitor?? ;)

It might be nicer for you... but it's my biggest complaint about the UI. It can be rather big pain in the backside having 5 or 6 individual windows for something that could easily be placed in a tabset. I'd even take it all in a single channel if it would open up the real estate on my screen for the rest of the game. Heck, make it optional... individual windows, or tabs.

Atys is too beautiful to hide with tells. lol

And example of options.

One player wants tabs, the other new windows. Sounds like a toggle to me and everyone wins.

Who looses?

Having too small of an appeal will cost Nevrax lots of revenue, and slow development. The support staff do an excellent job policing the game, and that will always have an impact on a game's community.

Making a game unappealing to a vast number of potential players to keep a community playing nice isn't exactly what I would consider a sound business solution.

Agreed. Optional makes both sides happy. ;)

Its the community its self that sets the tone.

your not setting a good one with that statement.
