But again, I don't regard that the list should be the focus or the future.
What was passed on was a resource for those who had at the time I held the output by and large received nothing since launch, some hadn't even seen what a cat looked like until I gave them some in March, they were entirely excluded from participation in op content. There was no contract that persons on the list would into perpetuity be given cats from Southend Dunes Farm. The list changed even during the period I held the op. It was reduced from its original 9 by a guild folding and other guilds obtaining ops and has been added to since as noted above.
Forget the list. It should not go forward in its past form even were Avila here to inform us of who is currently on it for 2 reasons. One is Eley needs to set its own criteria as they are running the op now, not me. The other reason is that it needs to be continuously updated no matter what the criteria are as the circumstances of persons on it change and those of persons not currently on it become qualified to be on it.
I suggest starting from the ground up with how many cats and mats are we willing to give away each week. Look at the number and ask yourselves what you regard as the most relevant criterion/a by which to allocate them. However you choose to go about it, I think the new owners should make a fresh start in their own terms and forget the old list as those on it can add themselves to the new and delightfully clear public and accountable one
