I agree with alot of the sentiment and reasoning behind what you did Brock but fasle attacks have got to stop. Alot of people probably dearly in need of it were deprived of their beauty sleep for nothing.

Now will the person behind ViP have the bottle to step forward and rationalise their reasoning?

I'm relatively new to the game having only joined around Christmas, but without knowing names or repuations I've recognised on the forums where much of the animosity towards fellow homins is forming and to some extent how its affecting the spirit of the community. False attacks don't help, but you sure proved a point with yours.

Nice experiment. If I had the experience, the dappers, and the guts I think I may have done something similar. Its always nice to stir up the hive for a bit of action.

Seriously though, I do agree that false declarations on OP's really needs to stop - or Nevrax needs to implement some severe penalties for not attacking an OP 'you' have declared on (not *you*, Red). Or just auto-cancel the attack phase/rounds if there are no attackers *at each round*. If no attackers show for, let's say 3 consequetive rounds, the battle is over and declared a "win" for the defense...battle over.

I don't think no measure can be taken to avoid all this mess... The least thing devs could do is set a min guild's life in days to be able to declare to outposts, at least that way someone will have seen the moron one day or another on the guild alt.

But I think the main topic here is not about fake guilds, but on balance and what we're doing... I'd personally enjoy it a lot more if outpost battles were 1G vs 1G only, thus avoiding the hassle. That will probably make small guilds life harder, but HEY, isn't it already? Do we have to fear Atys Paladins to take over all Kami side outposts? Don't think so, they already have 2, and same thing for kara guilds... Or at least limit the defending number of guilds to 1?

Someone even mentioned in some post about limiting the current number of homins that can take part on war per side... I know this is gonna be an ugly solution, but it's the fastes way to balance things.

Don't really know what would be a possible solution... i'm just *****surely you mean ticked off****

Maybe but I personally do not like that idea..Leave the numbers alone..Because the kara wont stay in power forever..the only thing that needs to be fixed is false declarations

Yeah, i wrote it down bad.. i meant to limit the number of guilds on each side... for example.. let 2 guilds defend and 2 guilds attack, at most... But I agree that it is not a solution... it woulb be liko "overprotection" by Nevrax, and I think outposts should be kept dynamic. Just wondering what's the magic receipe.

Ah okies I see what you saying now yeah not to bad an idea but still (even as someone who thinks OPs should be GvG) I say leave it as is and just fix the declarations

Admitting what you did is great, that does not change all the harm it did to people and the game.

Folks accusing other folks of doing it. People swearing the karavan allaince did it themselves to get attention, and the reprecussions of being sooo selfish as to think you have the authority to act on behalf of whomever to try and accomplish whatever you thought you were going to accomplish.

Your stunt and the resulting actions has made a lot of people not like this game even more. Kudos for being honest. But a big fat thumbs down for thinking this was a good/fun/interesting or whatever it was you thought you were getting out of it thing to do.

I see one or two people mildly scolding you here. You have taken credit, although I do not think you have taken respnsibility for it. You should be looking back and saying 'It is my fault all of those Outpost were declared on' Becuase without your action, there would have never been a need for the reaction.



Lastly, you characterizing anyone else as throwing the toys out of the pram is nothing but foolish after doing so yourself. You take the liberty to act like a child and then accuse others of being childish as a result of your actions. I really cannot get over this.


I hope I was not too critical, but I think you are holding yourself a little bit too highly for what you have done.
