Thats not what I showed in the above screenshots, they never ignored your birth. You started with them all based on your race's particular fame. If you worked your personal fame with them it changed, guild fame (or global) has/had no bearing on your personal association with a tribe. If my personal fame with a tribe -66, and others in the guild (who may or may not be Matis) worked the same tribe fame up to Matis global of -25... my global (and the guilds) fame with this tribe would improve. My personal fame would not move and I would be KoS with this tribe anyways.petej wrote:Sounds good but it doesnt work like that , Tribes you had personal with before the Patch "ignore your birth" (dont include Civ Fame) but Tribes you activate post Patch all start at your Civ Fame lvl , works the same for Neutral or Civ aligned
This was designed (and apparently changed) because the early incarnation of Outposts was based on the tribes. This way a guild could gain enough fame for the GL to accept missions to get an Outpost based on the guilds achievements with a particular tribe. As this is no longer the way things work it has been repackaged (since I established personal contact with every tribe for this purpose, I was a tad disappointed) and your personal fame has become the dominant benchmark with tribes.
"IF" you choose to align with a race other than your birth race, YMMV... I can check with Ambika on that one. We have and will always work strictly Kara aligned tribes and select strategically located tribes in case it ever matters down the road... At this time tho, tribes are merely something to move around or dive into based on your fame and whether your in hot pursuit/being chased.
