erm to rip off SWG the loading screen gave a we update of what was going down big style on the current region you were happening in. Ryzom could half inch this gratutiously and have we messages for each region. Like "you entering zorai" look for the place where old ghuiss was standing in while he has to wait for 6million years to work as his sprightly feet have been replaced by dial up trainers.

You are entering "uber death combat zone" the following homins have been whacked here.

I'm not sure if this is the correct place to put this suggestion but I think it goes along with the idea. As far as backgrounds go when you are loading would it be possible to load the splash from screenshots made in the ryzom folder. I figured if it were possible it would add a bit of personal focus to the game. Everyone would have there own loading screens. Just a thought.
