It seems that ban is because of jugula thingie. First there have been normal kind of bug reporting and ingame communication, followed by some dev feedback ("Working as intended"), DT post about issue on forums (that contains some argued violations to code of conduct), removal of post, pming in Klients and "desist order", someone else notifying about issue and finally DT posting link to originally deleted post. I probably miss some steps or may have confused something.kibsword wrote:Just a question here...how do we know that he was banned for that e-mail, I would assume it wasnt just that just something else. I don't know if there was something wrong pinpointing this jugula issue on boards as it is hardly an exploitable bug/feature or how issue was presented on that post.
However, if we don't think about content of that post but what has been done by DT we see here violations against rules of conduct that could result in forum ban i.e. posting a link to the post that was deleted even if that was specifically denied by csr (sending link is about same as posting the content).
This is just an observation. I do not say if rules of conduct are good or bad. I do not even say if DT's actions were for greater good even if opposing direct order of csr and should be considered as civil disobedience or something.
