So this KT issue only effects a part of the FF that contains popular and specific materials that if it wasn't for the KT being low would be readily available and "easy" to get "all the times"?

I was a little confused, because to begin with I thought it effect only the FF, it seems much more localised now and shouldn't be a problem for the devs to track down.

Can we give them some clues:

Mat Name
Mat Grade
How many you pull on a regular basis?
How close are the 'nodes' to each other (Mutli nodes when dug drop the KT for the local area much faster)?
Are you using aggresive digging methods?
Is this spot dug regularly by multiple diggers?
Is it under constant use at all times of Day?

The above will help identify what the KT issue is and then hopefully they can fix it.

So the problem have been reduced from a (rumoured) Atys wide problem to one single KT zone?
Should be very easy for the dev's to check (or any experienced harvester for that matter).

I must say though, what I saw of the KT there yesterday, appeared to behave normally.

And for the record yes I do forage in FF on occassion. But I've never seen to KT anywhere near zero. But then I don't forage in the easy areas. I forage in the east side of FF.
It's not so much as the easy areas....it's just ALL of the east side. lol West side is completely fine...in fact, last night, the tolerance bar was pretty much full. I always viewed as the east side much easier than the west side. Oo;;; There are two spots almost completely devoid of any aggro (mats in those two places are Sap, oil, shell, fiber, bark). For me, the west side isn't as easy. I've had mobs attack me where I thought I was mildly safe (mainly cuttlers and zerxs being dragged closer and slower by herbies....I swear, it's their way of getting revenge on us. x.X; ).

EDIT: As for the mats on the west end: Amber, seed, resin, wood, and woodnodes. Go figure, eh?

I don't dig in FF (not yet) so I cannot be objective, but it seems that the type of mat is having an impact: sap oil shell and bark can be easily bought at merchants (their loot grind equivalents), while amber seed and resin are clearly not as easy to get as the former. with all high level fyros jewelers digging on the same zone, I would expect KT lower. The solution, I don't know, some say it's working as intended, some say mobs drop need balance -e.g. they should also drop jewel setting and jewel stone ,herbs and plants do, but very scarce - at first sight, it seems to be working as intended, but I agree that if there are no other seed and amber spots relatively easy to get, it can be a problem

It was my understanding that it was in the West side of FF that there was a problem.

...don't know what you're talking about, because it hasn't affected you, and you're (clearly) bugging me.

That is all.
Ummm... Keoni? I gained 3 lvls in Desert, both pre and post this last patch. It was at Dyron, by the Kami TP, with KT at or one point away from 0, and got no warnings, no attacks, no nothing. So my comment is, why was I able to do that, and not you? If you are higher lvl, try getting a CP if you are just getting mats for crafting, or CPing yourself if trying to lvl digging.

For a spot that doesn't get "overdug", seems many people know about the KT there :P

Where I dig there is not a KT problem, but it isn't really what you can call safe either...

It is NOT only FF it is not a localized bug/problem with that area. Its always been the case and IS the same in all regions that 1 high lvl harvester can dig non stop and actually dig enough to negate the kami tolerance regen and actually move it downwards very slowy. This is how its been and acting exactly how the GMs/Devs expect it to behave.

If you add 1 more harvester all their digging is now going to move the KT downards since Harvester 1 is negating the spots regen and moving downwards as well. Add lots of harvesters those spots can be taken down to nothing in a matter of hours.

This is how it has been forever. We actually had a piss the kami off day and took nice pictures of the Kami smiting us on the NA server long ago.
