Yep, it is not geared towards solo play for hunting.madnak wrote: The game just isn't tooled for it.
the other half of the skilltree can be done solo. The harvesting and crafting.

Solo hunting is fine... until you get above lvl 150 or so... then it gets difficult, but still very possible.geezas wrote:Yep, it is not geared towards solo play for hunting.

On the xp curve where do you think the 50% point is ? my gues is somewhere around 200, so you can get 1/4 of your xp relatively easy and then 3/4 a bit harder ?larwood wrote:Solo hunting is fine... until you get above lvl 150 or so... then it gets difficult, but still very possible.

geezas wrote:According to the dp chart the 1/4 point is between 144 and 145. If this is the XP 1/4 point aswell then I am verry respectfull of soloers who do melee and magic to 200 or higher. You sure have alot more time then me![]()
I think the big fear with that is the game turning into something where you can just heal on a whim (like Diablo) and therefore make healers irrelevant. A simple solution might be to treat food/herbs like teleport tickets. They could take x seconds to take effect and the effect is cancelled if you are attacked or start another action while waiting. In this case, 15 seconds seems excessive, but maybe 5 would be reasonable.mmatto wrote:Only big problem in soloing at higher lvls is too long downtime for regen, especially if you have good hp gear. Some food or herbs to counter that and solo would be ok.
