Ryzom Population Depleting?
Re: Ryzom Population Depleting?
I had the impression the population was increasing. Not very fast, but slowly. When WoW hit the stores, we had quite some population decrease. I see a lot of new faces (or names) quite often, and not because of the server merge.

Alot of people also work in tech, server need patching ?mrozzy wrote:A good amount of the Ryzom players are (university) students, exams are coming up and most of them are quite occupied with thier studies atm. In DOA for example, about half the active members had to reduce thier online time for the past and the upcoming weeks due the above reason

Re: Ryzom Population Depleting?
I've temporary quit playing - but you can see, I'm still browsing the forums - because I tought I wait too much for the fixes and patches.
You are telling that the players are gone because they are playing WoW and GW, but they will come back.
LOL. They will come back, of course. The overall quality of online games has dropped drastically, most of them are just no-brainers that only require pacience to grind the levels. So far, in blind's land, Jack-One-Eye is the king. So is Ryzom. The players will come back here after they'll hit the max level there. Fortunatelly lev 250 and so many branches of skills takes more than 3 months to complete.
So don't worry. We will come back
