Ryzom Population Depleting?

Hello... this is my first post on the Forum... but I feel that its necessary. I'm sure that many of you share the same concern as i do.... fewer and fewer players. I've only been playing since January 05, but it seems to me that there has been a large amount of people that are leaving Ryzom for other games. Why is this?

Is it due to the plethra of server problems over the last while?

Is it with the slow game progression? "the legendary outposts.... that are just "legendary".

Is it new games that are more exciting, and have more consumer support?

Is it due to a lack of hipe and advertising?

I really like Ryzom. Its by far the best MMORPG that I've played, and i am scared of the thought of it crashing because of a lack of subscriptions. Maybe I'm just imaginig things, I hope so...

If anyone feels the same as me, or knows anything at all... or just wants to ramble on about random acts of illusionary default go ahead.

I guess the reason that I made this post, is for any ideas of what the problem is... and ideas of how to fix it. We as players need to do more than play... if we want to play. (uh... yeah)

I believe there is a downturn in server population recently, but I suspect it's temporary - folks wandering off to play GW for awhile, who will soon enough return. That's my theory, anyhow. Your mileage may vary.

yes its true that people are leaving yet have you noticed people are also returning?

I have seen people such as Digging return after a month or two of out time.

I like to think of this as time in which you find yourself again, realise you are missing ryzom way too much and then click resubscribe

I also noticed a drastic decrease in the number of players online. I hope they will be back after new contents are out.

I can not confirm this for my timezone (GMT+2). Its more like the opposite.

im betting that if you have half a brain and playing guildwars instead of ryzom you come back soon.
i mean i played guildwars for a week and it made me realize how much i mis ryzom after not playing for two months.
and ive been away for a while and to me it seems that there is not really a player decrease on the server.
actually met alot of people who just came back after a long brake like me
