Information on timezone differences for events

In fact normally CET = GMT +1 and CEST = BST +1 = GMT +2
And currently we are using CEST over here...

But really i try to avoid using all these confusing abreviations

Easiest would be to just use:
london time = 0;
paris time = +1;
west coast USA time = -8;
east coast USA time = -5.

These are much more understandable imho
