Any way to just type in an emote?
Re: Any way to just type in an emote?
Also, it may help to set up a second desktop the way you want it (like your primary desktop) and then if you accidentally start removing windows during a battle or something, you can just hit F2 and be back to normal instantly, and then come back and fix the primary desktop during a time of less stress.

With regard to the original question, I think the poster was asking if there was a way to make your own emote strings as you can in most other MMOs (not to mention, -all- MUDs). I'm aware you can use the pre-defined emotes with slash commands (/dance, /bow, /wave), but I have yet to find anything that will allow me to do something like:
/emote frowns upward at the sun, squinting her eyes against its glare.
That's a pretty standard feature, not to mention a nearly essential one for roleplayers. Obviously, it doesn't come with graphics. It does, however, allow players access to an infinite variety of actions. If it doesn't exist in the game, it needs to.

A breathtaking improvement would be the possibility to make a macro in which you can combine the graphics of an emote WITHOUT the text and add your own text-emote.
As players have near to limitless imagination they would come up with 100ds of macros where graphics and message fit perfectly
