Lower graphics on mobs and higher downgrade on ranged graphics

After some seaching and Tweaking my ryzom looks and work for me a lot better.

The Downgrade on crowd i less. Can now see 50 clear players insted of 20.
Mobs don't "autodegrade" as close. 50-75meters now
I now see mobs/player farer too.
Mobs and char are abit clearer.
And still as smooth as before.

It holds to see what happens in a really BIG crowd like an invasjon.

I might add this was not doon with "options" inside ryzom or in ryzom_configuration.exe as my values is a tap higher ;)

Notepad is a programmer's best friend :D Of course, it shares the spot with caffeine, nicotine, lack of sleep, and caffeine :)

Even using the Ryzom configurator you should be able to increase the draw distance and increase the texture size to add more detail. Outside of the game use the advanced properties of your video card to enable features like antialiasing and trillinear filtering. This is where you will see a lot of difference in things like water effects and texture details.

Hmmm, for some reason Nvidia thought it a good plan to install the dutch lang drivers on my us_english XP installation. Yes, I know my computer is located in the Netherlands, but I want english. Mostly because I have simply no clue what anti-aliasing is in dutch and cant find anywhere in the settings to turn it on.

btw: I maxed out the degrade range this morning, made no diff in fps :-P SHould have done that before...
