What is the point of mounts ?

The funny bit ... while inside my mount... I ran around ... after a few seconds the graphics changed from a packer mount to .... as follows:

A yber, an Izam, a kipee, back to a yber, a ragus, a scary ragus, a lady tryker, a yber again ....

Im so much looking forward to being able to buy a mount myself, though I must admit that my main reason for having one is the dream of jousting =) ooh man I love that!

But anyway I think its a really good add to the game, sometimes you just gotta get somewhere fast, and a mount will sure do the job =)

That would be using a weapon from a mount.
I believe this will be the ultimate road to see more people using ranged! Let range be the only skill that can be used while mounted. And because you need some stability and aiming, make it so that it will cost a BIG bunch of focus and stamina through penalties.

I would buy a packer on a loan if this would be available!

Yep proposed it first in the FBT ... but time will tell if we the lake people get region specific toys....

We could have cable cars over the desert canyon.
