What is the point of mounts ?

u cant summon it at will,
if it dies no rez,
cant teleport it with you,
cant fight off it,
eats through your cash 10k at a time,
looks damn ugly...
i dunno, i just dont get it, why did they even bother ?

I always wanted a likkle pony all of my vwey own but daddy would never get it for me and now I have one all to myself and that cheap bastid isn't getting a go on it....no siree!

Come on they look cool! That works for me, I only took it out once as I prefer to walk across the desert, but I'll never forget the night 10 of us rode from Thesos to Pyr and brought back another 10 new members on foot and as we fought our way back to Thesos, it felt good mounting and unmounting for the fights. ......I'm a shallow person really...aren't I

Why make Ferrari's when we have busses? Same as mounts really not everones cup of tea maybe but gives another option to those people who want/can afford to use them.

Mounts+Water = waste of time really.
Mounts+Land = great way to travel.

10k pah, if you are worried about 10k in this game you are doing something very very wrong.

Mounts are great help when doing missions, the have a fun factor.

If the inv was slightly larger they would be much more useful... I can't fit all my hunting/foraging gear on him..... but hey... I have 3 other packers.

Escaping aggro ... you can now out run 90% of the mobs.

They are the first step to the next new thing...... Jousting mabe!!!!

2 weeks ago we couldn't ride, now we can!
in 2 months time, whos knows what will happen!

If the add something you don't want then don't use it...... I for one know many who think they are fun and worth every dapper.

erm i think mounts are great..

For one i cant stand traveling by foot at all now.. but its also great for delivery missions or tours of inspection (any missions for that fact) also helps me get to my remote forage spots in a less painful fashion.. Only sucks when they die, which i must admit has happened to me (poor lil begger got splashed by goari electric) that can be expensive as far food/fuel goes just try and be economical or syphon off another mektoub =d

They are great for mission that take you far from the mission giver. And when you simply have to be somewhere as quick as possible.

Also great for my in the field medical service. When someone posts that they need a rez in so-and-so i can be there sooner (and i still don't charge for the service ).

Also, my weapon & armour delivery service is picking up. I'll charge a premium, but can now deliver equipment rather than making people come to me!

On a side note .....

I have found that its me that gets the aggro when mounted, like with packers is it only the AOE that kills the mount?
