Hehe this is turning out to be one of the more informative threads I've seen, goodo. It's good to see so many personalities coming out, from the supportive to the condescending "Im not gonna comment.." - hello, you just did! to the patronising "any given cross section..." lol

The idea, tbf, of this thread was not to insult people, although, when you appeal to people's emotive side, it's kind of inevitable. The idea was, knowing there are high level crafters in Zorai, why it was there was such a deficient market, which appeared not to be the case in other zones.

The answer was pretty much what I'd "guessed" to be the case ie: a mixture of everthing posted in this thread although, I'll be honest here, the /tell business hadn't crossed my mind.

On the positive side, well for me anyway, I have purchased the required amps and no it wasn't in my home land. For those who are curious as to who I am and what my "levels" are? My name is Mephisto, currently lv151 offensive mage (is that appropriate or what?? rotfl) lvl105 healer, lvl126 forager etc and I do a bit of q100 crafting.

So to close, thanks for the info, apologies to those who feel hurt (Lienchang in particular) and, for the pompous, don't even go there!

It seems a bit strange to say "I want to be left alone and anon" when the first name I given when I ask who makes amps is.... Petej, Sky, Neun! (now that Decoy is gone, sob).

You are kidding yourself guys (and I say this in a nice friendly manner) if you think you can hide. Your guild mates tell on you!!! for starters. "Oh our guild all have ql180 amps, Petej makes them for us... but he only makes for guild people"... hmm maybe if I tell him he will make an exception....

So in effect trying to remain anon only means you are gonna get tells.

Be that as it may, I certainly sympathise with everything you said, especially the "555674" line... very apt.

However, if the game turns out to be more of a 'community' vs the kitins type of game, then we as the players need to overcome this problem, because we all need equipment, especially the amps.

I might also suggest that players need to accept less than supreme for everyhting they have. Perhaps the high level people could dump their choice items on merchnats and reserve better for their friends.

By the way, I need a level 170 amp if anyone is free...))

PS if the ingame email worked it would solve a lot of these problems...

In the meantime, well I dunno really, maybe try the attitude that seems to be becoming prevalent - "Sorry, I will only rez for my guildies now"!!!! :p
Will be a good idea
:D

...anyway the Zoria continent is very different from all others and the players too... in the other continents the guild are many so noone really care about the lvls crafters in the other guilds... here in Zora is a continue competition cuz we know all each others and we're few so each player wanna work 4 the grow of the his guild only... i find this right and agree at 100%
I started play in October and I choice Zorai race 4 many reasons, one of these was the few players around... too ppl make me mad :P I was interested to cooperate but noone was interested so i started to work only 4 grow up my guild... from what i can see atm not only me did this... atm noone can buy good items from merchants... only very bad items crafted only 4 lvling... this is bad from a side... and good from another... for me it's ok... Darwin talked about a natural selection... this is in Zoria... the Atysian version of Sparta :)

OMG! I make amps :P

hehe I stopped lving melee weapons about 2 months ago, got to lvl 80 in pike or something ..... Please I don't amps. I have a 5% chance of making a ql60 one :P

As for 'anon', far from it :D ... I just am frustrated that the game interface does its best to kill me when someone sends a tell and people are so focused on their need for equipment, they forget that a crafter also is playing a game and they expect the same service as if I got the money in real life.....

If all you wanted to ask was is there any high level crafters in Zorai why did you not do so?

This piece in answer to your first post.
Interesting idea about not being able to sell to NPCs (not for resale) items ql 100 or above, but I take it you were not serious about this. As crafters including myself can make over 600 items in a week (not talking earrings here, talking heavy vest, 2h mace etc. and not purchased mats either). So we would sell 30 (or is it 100 such a long time since I sold anything for resale I have forgotten) to the NPC for resale but what would we do with the other 570+ (or 500 +) items as there is no point crafting just to destroy them and myself and other crafters would have to find another way to raise dappers.

Yup thats the one :D

I never have supplied "the best" (even to guild mates) cant get above excellent with my 240+ jungle forage skill , the ppl who had the best from me also supplied the mats (I prefer to craft for exp anyway and just use dapper to grind merch mats) -same as back in open beta :)

I have a long history (lol I was famous :) ) of crafting to the community , in OB I was an All-Rounder char lvling/using all skill branchs (except range) but in the end I was forced into crafting full time . Im determined its not going to be that way this time round and I WILL "get out to play" (if i can just escape "the grind" that posesses my soul) :p
