Re: Q&A Round VIII
"We have real ambition for range fighting, as a third form of combat - something different from melee and magic - bringing an original diversity to the game. So this is a major point here : range fighting clearly needs to be deeply reworked and improved. But for that we need to finish the other big ...

Re: Ranged Weapons
Anyone tried to make a ranged fighter from scratch and able to stand on there own feet? Be tempted to try this and keep a diary but a bit pushed for time and not keen on low level harvesting again. Think its fair to say any skill except healing can be soloed if you have other skills at a much higher ...

Re: Nevrax Announces the Addition of Industry Veteran to Production Team
Hmm this is the woman who just left Asherons Call, 2 months before they ship an expansion pack! Edit: grr engage brain dissengage fingers! Welcome to Nevrax/Ryzom Jessica really hope this works out. However just to explain my brief and possibly rude note, Jessica Mulligan was hired by Turbine in a ...

Re: Playerbase
Wish they would list number of players per server in real time like some other mmo's do and get this out in the open. Player pop for me is an indicator of a games health something i take on board when planning long term. When its hidden you have to come up with inaccurate guess, to me atm the game ...

Re: Sugestions: Read this if you care about Ryzom
Sorry Flora but you are wrong here... Nevrax has 4 month to reorganize his financial state, make a business plan AND convince his creditors that he will be able to pay his debts. So Nevrax doesn't have to pay its debt for 4 month, but after that, there is no more patience UNLESS the creditors ...

Re: Sugestions: Read this if you care about Ryzom
ok i've pointed out the pitfalls and still hold your ideas are fine for certain games (not sure about the ats one though) but probably not Ryzom, mostly based on my experiences in UO around it's peak. but its easy to critisise, so i'll put my neck on the line :) Player based donations eaither via an ...

Re: Sugestions : Product named ATS Outpost
^^ It's not lack of ATS testing thats slowing things down it's the time taken to fix bugs and internal re/testing, the testing loops on itself till the bugs are fixed. They've stated they hand pick testers and will accept more in order to test outposts properly. There not being hampered by lack of ...

Re: Sugestions : Power leveling Books
I mean do people buy those guides as they seem pointless for MMO's, no point spending a fortune on printing and binding to end up with huge stock of unsold guides. There was a games site that said that guides tended to be popular in the US but not in europe generally, they would need to test the ...
