Harvesting

looo all,
Just a few quick questions and maybe share a few observations between everyone :-


1. Source spamming :- does this effect the number of sources in the area when you do it so more spams less sources there are after the intial spam has died,as have experianced this being the case on several occasions or is it concidence?

2.Gentle :- Using gentle gentle gentle does the sources regen faster over a time period than using aggresive ( Read Agg is supposed to damage the land more so making regen longer ) as i seem to find if i use gentle the sources in the area seem to last longer so more to harvest,whats everyone elses experiances on this?

<edit> 3.DO explosions and gas clouds reduce the sources in the area to ie more explosions destroy the land so less mats to harvest?

Just a few things as people who harvest in roots will know the source content depleting rapidly HAS STILL NOT been fixed :S so just trying to find ways of harvesting and getting the regen time quicker.Cant we just reset the sources back to normal EXCEPT the ones round tps? This would discourage the SP grabbers who just come down roots and harvest anything within a 100 mtr radius of a tp then leave.A lot of people who harvest roots had to find out the hard way (the DP way) ,wheres safe and wheres not what routes take etc,dodging patrols etc so why shouldnt new harvesters in roots.We chose roots you chose surface we harvest in harder places imo yet we are penalised with the source depletion. ( or go with youre guild harvesters ) OR reset the sources back to normal and bring back patrols i can put up with weather season and patrols but this source content is beyond a joke now.NEVERAX/LAWREANCE IS IT GOING TO BE FIXED OR NOT????(that was a waste of time eh? but i am trying..lololol) a straight answer would be nice.So can we TRY to keep from turning this into a flame thread..lol

I only have observations, not hard facts but i have recently changed my foraging habits and havent had a problem with 0 content sources since (and boy i did before..) I am now extremely careful never to let a source expire or explode. Previously i avoided explosions, but would let the life bar run down without caring. Now i look after both

Unfortunately i have also moved areas, gave up with ToT and now forage exclusively in gate. So it might just be because this is a less popular area for foragers.. but even the sources near the TP have been behaving themselves.
