Anyone interested on how to stop the goo!!!!!!!!

As i recall from the meeting in Pyr many days and nights ago the leader of the meeting talked about a NPC that was creating all the goo. I have repeatedly tried to find this NPC to slaughter him so that we may stop the goo from taking over Atys. So what i am suggesting is that the devs take it into their hands and tell us how to stop the goo that is taking over Zora. I personally think that should be some way to stop it since that is what was said in the meeting and have not found a way to rid the goo yet. I have noticed it creeping further and further into Zora and soon it will take all of Zora. If the Devs ever decide that there is a way to stop this i am asking everyone to unite to take it out. I personally have foraged in the PR and dug massive amonts of goo hoping to stop it and still nothing. Also i have dug it in hopes of having this NPC walk up and slaughter me so that we may go down and take him out. There has to be someway to stop this and I am just wondering how that might be done.

is the goo actually spreading?

I ran into some purple thing once roaming around Zorai and died. Took me a minnit to realize I was wading in goo.

I thought it was just assigned to that area of the land tho, and not actively spreading as time passes.

I believe the NPC you are reffering to is an event NPC and not one still in game. Something did catch my attention in your response, you said:

How did you forage goo? What did you do with it once you foraged it? Where exactly did you forage it?

I know there are a bunch of "Help us Stop the Goo Infestion" missions at the Kami and the Welcomer in Zora.

I know of a spot near town where you can dig up goo for a mission.

And I saw some "goo-infested" white looking ape thingees roaming around once and a NPC near by who say something like "Oh poor lost goo infested souls they are .. woe ... woe ..."

actualy I dont think it is actualy expanding or at least I dont notice it and Im out there on edg of it alot foraging. I will have to look at it some more but I dont think it is actualy growing any.

I know of the stop the goo infested creature missions in Zora. I've just never done any because I didn't think there were any goo infested creatures in COI. I don't recall seeing any missions asking to remove actual goo. I was under the impression that there was no way to actually dig and reteive it. However if there are ways to actually dig it up then a massive harvesting effort should have some effect.

Can anyone tell me of the general area that goo can be dug? If it's near zora, where near Zora?

There are missions that ask you to "rid the land of the goo", but these turn out to be Fresh or Dried Modified Sap, which are mission mats that are the same as any other mission mat. Its not the goo purple zone stuff that is in Zorai.
