Tasks, Content. I'm fustrated. Rant.

The fact that we do the same missions over and over until we get a 'rite' to an encyclopedia once we find the right random one, is one of the worst mission concepts I have ever encountered.
I've given this a lot of thuoght, and I gave Nevrax a lot of patience, but I'm pretty sour at the implementation how Missions work and how they relate to fame.
Let me start by saying that I get nothing beisides fame and pitiful amounts of dapper running missions in CoI. Now, had encyclopedias been encountered from the beginning, I'd have had more fun doing missions...and the end result would have been the same. People are now repeating tasks they've done before and there's still no feeling of growth.
Lets say I've got all my entries done for CoI. Basically, I'm done with CoI. There's no more left. I don't want anything to do with it. CoI is no longer my home. I'm out in maiden grove...where I can't find a spawn point or tp (possible change with outposts..if my guild decides to control one there), and then I move to haven of purity, mull/knot, void, pr, nexus....after all of the repetitive gameplay, over half for which I am to high level for and there is practically no reward, what then? I doubt it would take me more than a year and half to do all the Zorai missions and most of pr missions.
Am I expected to go to tryker and start doing their low level fair haven missions? is the 8 year plan for me to go over the game with the same character over and over and over again with no rewards aside from pvp and occaisional events?
I'm not even worried about 8 years though. I'm more worried about five months down the line. I hate doing tasks right now. I hate doing them soooo much. There's no sense of purpose
There would be of course, if the missions didn't have a 'cap' on how high their level is. For example, I goto corpral blah after I killed two kips for him. Why does he reassign me two little kips to kill when he knows my skills would be much useful elsewhere? instead the same repetitive tasks are given.
It's like he had a meeting with Brithlem and found out that he should have absolutely no faith in my abilities. He shouldn't know that though because he didn't have a meeting with B. All he knows is that I killed two kips for him.
Anyways, I really don't like running missions right now. I especially without preservative/construction material/food tracking. I'll stick around for quite a while I bet. Play the death out of PvP and stupid grinding that's actually more fun than current content. We'll all leave one day. But I don't want to find myself asking 'how fun was it...really?" , or saying "I just played it for something to do while I waited for the next game".
I'm not trying to post a flame thread, I'm just wondering if anyone feels the same way I do. That missions, even with current and ucoming implementation are ....stale?
Specific complaint and suggestion about the system.
Specific entries for data regarding harvesting: I think they shuold be based at certain levels of fame, not on some silly obscure mission when THERE IS NO TRACKING. After you do so much for the people they will teach you something. I mean what are we afraid of for not having tracking? that harvesters will level their tasks faster than the tanks will? at lower levels that's not possible with the small tracking and lack of prospect abilities. And higher level combatants will OWN the areas mobs for super fast entries anyways.
My suggestion is that perhaps generic stanzas and entries be given at generic fame levels. For example 40 Zorai/Tryker etc. fame you get the option to learn stanza that cost normal SP for things like prospecting food/preservatives etc.
Sorry for the rant. I know the patch is coming. I just feel that given the static task module, even adding rites and more entries would be just as boring.
