we are now at 30+ patches since retail launch. I'd like to know why there are still so many karavan/kami altars that do not work. Are they that difficult to fix? Are the devs unaware that they are still broken? Do we, the players, need to create and update a list of what you guys SHOULD be working on? Who is responsible for assigning a higher priority to making prospected source spawn with zero content over fixing broken teleports?
Oh, and in fairness, I'll give you kudos for the relatively painless launch of patch 2.2 -- only major bug I spoted was the accidental pvp in fleeting gardens.. did you guys actually listen and hire someone to do QA finally?

Almost EVERY MMORPG has an insane number of patches, and still has an insane number of bugs. You show me one MMORPG that has no bugs after 30+ patches, and I will eat my face. I'm not kidding. I will film myself eating my face, and if I can manage, I'll upload the movie to my server.
Second, they HAVE a list of what they should be working on, but it takes 10x the amount of time to do it that you'd think it takes. What they do isn't easy, and if you think it is, then you should be programming for them.
Third, they've had a QA team, but like I said before, no amount of anything will stop any MMORPG from having bugs.

How would you like it if you bought a car and had to take it back every week for the retailer to add something else to it in order for it to work?
Some of the problems that are being complained about are basic game play issues that need to be addressed. Take for example the nexus, none of the teleporters there yet work and now with the introduction of pvp all a guild has to do is guard the ramps. With the teleporters still not working there is limited access to that area making it easier for the pvp oriented to deal with others.

I have never seen any confirmation from a gm that this is a bug.

Games and cars do not compare well I'm afraid

Game technology is constantly evolving and improving, and they aren't all built using 'common' technology. Nevrax designed an engine from the ground up to build Ryzom.
Oh, and you'll find, if you look hard enough, that many cars are indeed 'recalled' from customers, due to mass faults that have been replicated over and over. BMW are a company that spring to mind, and have had recalls in previous years of both cars and motorcycles - german car engineering is some of the best in world

Everytime I start thinking in the mindset of a mindless whiner, I log in-game, and just stare at the screen. I remove all the windows I have open, and just watch. Look at these graphics. Now... I know what you're thinking - graphics aren't everything... and they're not. In fact, the game could have worse graphics - WAY worse - and as long as the gameplay were enjoyable, I'd be having a blast. That's not the point. The engine that they created from scratch proves, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that Nevrax is beyond committed to bringing us the best gaming experience that they can.
If any of you can't stand bearing the growing pains along with the rest of us, then just don't bother playing. Or coming here to complain about playing. I'm getting tired of having to explain these things (things that can be comparable to the complexity of understanding basic math) over, and over, and over...

Have you considered that perhaps you haven't run across enough game content with a mid-50s character yet to make sweeping generalities about game content and functionality to call others ignorant? Hard to know that many upper level TP sites are outright broken if you haven't spent the hours and amassed the 500K+ dp required to get there after dying again and again only to discover they don't work.
What amuses me about the implementation of PVP is that the rather difficult-to-find Nexus TP sites had been broken since game beginning (haven't checked since the latest patch but doubt that's changed). Makes it kind of hard to go fight for the future of kami/karavan if you can't get there without a death ticket. Not to mention that up until now there was no harvesting in Nexus either, so the mats we're all supposed to be fighting over are well, hmm....

all the ticket sellers work,but many of them have requirements you must meet (fame, or level) before they will sell you anything.
