Here this would be alot of fun. No PvP. No dp. Non agro carnivores. Take only minimal damage from the mobs you fight. 3000 exp for ever mob you kill no matter how small. Forage all the best mats where ever you happen to be standing. The ability to tranzport to anywhere from anywhere. Quests that walk you though them step by step. Fame can be acheived by asking for it and have no consiquences to other fame. The ablity to fly around. The abilty to run as fast as your comupter can handle. The ablity to dig to china. Be able to live with Santa Clause and the Easter Bunny. And be best friends with Superman. Oh yeah And wouldn't it be cool if monopoly had a round board and the money was real.

Pfffft. You think MMO's economies are screwed up; just wait until everyone drops twenty bucks on a monopoly game that has twenty thousand dollars inside of it.

I voted no just because I suck at monopoly. I'd end up in greater debt than I am in now...which I'm not....so I'd be in debt. And that sucks.

), but, people really do like playing that way! Why do you think so many flock to private servers where xp and loot rates are like 20000%, teleporters are everywhere, and you can change your character at any time? There are Lineage2 private servers with thousands of players; and for Ragnarok online... even more.

The bulk of gamers fall into the "instant gratification" crowd -- we the mmorpg playing crowd are the minority.

Actually, the round board for Monopoly would be interesting *LOL* Aside from that, I get the joke.

My one beef is that the devs can't seem to be happy with how hard the game is, always looking for ways to make it harder, and more quickly than we the players can adapt. *shrug*

As for the quests, er, um, MISSIONS, we COULD stand to get a FEW more clues on some of them; as it is, you get NADA. That's why I hate doing them. Oops, found another gripe ;p Better stop before I find more

And I'd rather be best buds with Batman; he's got all the cool toys hehehe

I'm not sure if this thread is directed ONLY at me for the threads I started about DP, or ALSO at me. Whether "only" or "also", I definitely feel included. Thank you. It's an honor.

If you ridicule me with wit, satire or passion, I'll look sheepish, and shuffle my feet, and maybe shut up.

But the post that started this thread is as about as witty as a rude elbow in the ribs, as satiric as a rain-soaked Enquirer, and as passionate as a piddling yubo. C'mon, try again. Surely you can do better than that.

How can you want this Jackmor? I say give all players the best equipment, let them all be level 250 in all skills.

Sorry, didn't mean too offend. Nothing personal. But, come on didn't you ever try to dig to China, or wish all the money in monopoly was real I did. I was just saying that the game shouldn't be to easy or so complex that it would be no fun at all. However, if that was the way it was Im sure there are a lot of people that would love it. Anyway, it was just a joke and not directed at anyone. Just having some fun.

I wish the game was like that sometimes. Not all the time, but sometimes.
An occasional respite from the constant grinding, leveling, and working off DP would be real nice.
But no, the only vacation we get is outside the game (or the occasional exploit, lol).
Maybe Ryzom should have holidays too.
