Game is starting windowed!?

When i start the client, it's running windowed!?
I have configurated it to run "fullscreen" but it's still starting up in a window!
How can this be!?

The game always starts in a window (for me at least) and goes full screen after you log in.

Mine also starts windowed but when it begins to load into the game it usually goes full screen. If it doesn't, I usually hit ALT+TAB a couple times and it goes fulls screen. SO you might try that.

same here has always open windowed then maxed. run config b4 launch check screen settings

Just use Alt+tab a few times, the window will go full screen then..

well mine starts windowed and it stays that way, i cant even create a char.

Are you guys using nVidia cards? I had a Gf4 Ti4600 until recently. Ryzom did exactly as it should (start windowed, fullscreen after login/char select), until I changed my resolution to 1280x1024. After that, the game tried to go fullscreen, but stayed in a window. When I checked the in-game config, the checkbox for fullscreen was still checked, yet Ryzom was running windowed.

The only way I found to fix this (and keep the resolution of 1280x1024) was to run the game, go into config, uncheck fullscreen, then check it again. That was damn annoying tho, as it always left my interface in a complete mess.

I'm now using an ATI 9800 Pro, and 1280x1024 fullscreen works exactly as it should. When using the nVidia card, I was running up-to-date drivers too.
