What I have found (to be true only for myself and Q50 nodes, tested only like 30 mins):

I never really understood the real difference between, say, Gentle Speed and Gentle Rate. Of course, you treat the source "more Gentle". "Rate" refers to quantity harvested per cycle and "Speed" to the lenght of a cycle.

Based on this, I'm assuming that for each source mode, there is something like an "Ideal Stanza". Correct?

Of course, using "All Gentle" works the best, but also eats the most focus. Maybe all of these thoughts become obsolete once I have huge focus and care plans, but who has enough focus? And care plans take time (1+ cycle of foraging less).

Ok, as it looks now (Speed/Rate/Quality):

Source Mode 0 - A/A/G ok!
A/A/A causes Explosion

Source Mode 1 - A/A/A ok!

Source Mode 2 - A/A/G ok!
A/A/A & G/G/A depletes source

Source Mode 3 - G/G/G ok!
A/A/A & G/G/A & A/A/G depletes the source

Source Mode 4 - G/G/A ok!
A/A/A & A/A/G depletes the source

Source Mode 5 -
A/A/A & G/G/A causes Explosion

"ok!" = I get no deplete and/or explosion before my source time runs out (which is 32.5secs right now).

I have not tried G/A/G and A/G/G yet, these might work for Mode 5 and/or 3 for better results.

G3/A4/Gql140 + terrain spec, prospecting with Terrain source time 3
Focus 2156

Applying 2 or 3 careplans (lvl3 Pres+lvl3 grd stab) at mid-point.

Any mode type, gives me between 9-11 mats of ql140.

I have found that, as long as you get a couple of cares in in the middle of the harvest and do get too distracted by chatting to your friends. That this is very safe and very predictable.

If I have a carer with lvl2 of grd stab and pres or better....

I can go full aggresive A4/A4/Aql140 and only have to switch to gentle if the source get too hot, or they run out of focus. usually results in 11-12xql140.

From what I can tell the time you are allowed to harvest (excluding bonus time) is base mainly on the ql stanzia used.

I experimented using ql100 on ql100 spots and got less time to harvest than if I used ql140 on ql100 spots! This in away is a little annoying as, if I only need ql100 and I want to save focus but using a ql100 stanzia, lower focus = more possible hits before you run out. The time is adjust to mean you can't gain any additional mats.

There are many time I would prefer 15xql100 vs 10xql140. But the options given by the game are 10xql100 or 10ql140, so I am forced to follow a set path by the game. you will only get 9-11 mats/pull at my level regardless of how you fiddle with the stanzas.

whats the difference bitween agressive extraction and agressive extraction with rate 1.0?

if i use the "normal" agressive extraction i get higher q. withe agressive extraction with rate 1.0 i just dont get higher q and even les x. Maby my stansas ar not right or maby i think i f****** my harvesting.

If i finde a basic amber node of 0 i can extract q30 max and 2 piles. (dryon) I get 800xp max

I wonder what is wrong. my harvesting is skill 40. Maby i sould not be digging there? I d'ont knowe...
