Important Information Regarding the Fauna (Mob) Changes

Post by cerest »

1. Over the last week the mob population in the Tryker outland zones has been re-vamped. The Winds of Muse and The Faunt have been made accessible to lower level characters. The Lagoons of Loria now contains challenging fun for higher level characters

2. Over the last week the Knoll of Dissent has also been revamped and made accessible to lower level players than before.

3. There have been significant changes to the densities of creatures who are currently spawning in some areas of the game. This is due to the dynamic fauna management system. It is particularly visible round some of the inter-continental teleportation destination points, several of which are now surrounded by large numbers of over-zealous predators. Players exploring the world this weekend are advised to go in largeish groups!

4. Next week, with the introduction of the next patch, the respawn points will become much safer again (we think that they are unreasonably tough right now). There will also be changes to the Mob population in the Abyss of Ichor, making it accessible to lower level players than previously. There will be a certain amount of re-balancing of the dynamic fauna population too.

5. The fauna and bosses for next week's patch are all up and in test on the Advanced Test Server...
