Earlier notice on events?

I work through weekends. I'm guessing events are roughly bi-weekly so I'm going to finangle my hours to have a loose saturday schedule some time. I know a few other people who work as well. It'd be nice if we could get some more advanced notice (3 days at least) so we can give notice of super long lunches or adjusted hours where we can go home and play.

Most of our events are announced at least 2-3 days in advance, though obviously the kitin aren't kind enough to tell us when they're going to strike.

I work with josephm for a evil company and yes we keep missing the events because we find out to late. At any rate I to keep thinking they will appear in the Annoucment section but guess not.
