Roots-PvP - friend attacking or not?

In the describtion text it's mentioned, that these pvp-rule is planned.

In our community there are a lot of people, who are not contently with that.
Why you should attack a friend? Why that is possible?
In a guild or team fight nobody plans to attack his friend, so there seems no need for that. It will only cause discontent when you attack a player who is on your side...

In FvF you are not able to attack friends, why at roots-pvp?
