Gandolfs Fault!!! NOT me I didn't do it.
Last night we were all saposed to train with Goldenhammer and go clopper hunting. It was going to be great fun for the whole family(guild). Thats what I wanted to do. Let me say that again. Thats what I, me, yes me, I wanted to do.. But, thats not what happened is it. No, not at all. Because when I got on nobody was there and Gandolf saideverybodys at the nexus, lets go to the nexus, it will be fun. And I said NO we should wait here with Zar far the others to get back. Thats the right thing to do. But Gandolf wouldn't give up, and you know he's a caster right, yup he cast magic on me and Zar and made us go to the nexus.
When we got to the nexus the battle was aready lost. Again, this was not my fault. Because, I was still under the influance of bad mojo. Then, Gandolf made us go to the zora lands insted of going home like I wanted to.
It will be great, he said. It will be fun, he said. We won,t have to go on saturday. No, I said. The others are waiting for us, I said. But, the mojo still had a hold on me and I was forced to go and poor Zar was like a puppet on a string with no will of his own.
Once we were there however, the bad mojo of Gandolfs evil spell begain to wear off. It was then that Zar begain to awaken. Like coming out of a dream. Where are we. How did we get here. Why is there so much feakin lag.
It was then that Gandolf began to weave his web of lies. Don't you remember Gandolf said to Zar. Braveheart brought us here. He pointed out the Kami and said we should go to the Zora lands. But, but, how do we get home Zar said. It was then that Gandolf realized the terrible thing that he had done.
Yes, it was just what you may have suspected Zar had no ticket home. And I was helpless to stop any of it because of Gadolfs bad mojo.
So, there we were stuck in the horrible Zora city of lag. And it was ALL GANDOLFS FAULT. But, a hero came to our rescue. It was Ragland, the mighty Ragland. He discovered our situation because I had sent him a secret message of where we were. I told him to stay away. I told him that Gandolf had gone mad and was casting control spells on us and had already lured Jaspernak into his web.
But, that faithful hero of Fryos could not let us be led away to our deaths by the deceitful Gandolf. He quickly called out to our brothers and sisters to rescue poor Zar from the Zora lands and bring him home safely to Fryos.
Most were frozen with fear and shock when they heard the name of Gandolf. He had used his mojo on others before. But, not the great and powerful Rheanaan, leader of our guild, she was immune to Gandolfs influances. She joined Ragland and ported to the dreaded city of lag and took control of the situation. Leading the way to the quickest way home she brought us to undersprings.
The undersprings are a feared and dreaded place. Once we arrive that rotten coward Gandolf became frozen with fear and was completely useless from this point on. We tried for days to get past the giant and deadly creatures that dwell in that awfull place. Rhaenaan, Jaspernak and Ragland came up with brilliant plans to defeat these guardians of the underworld to no avail. Even strangers hearing of Zars plight came to the undersprings and joined our quest.
Many times we tried and many times we failed. It was an epic battle. All the while Gandolf, the evil bastage, stood there motionless. Finaly we gave up this fruitless endever and or new freinds led us in another direction.
Leaving Gandolf, the evil coward, In the undersprings we set off for Fryos over land. I could not endure however.
Over come with the effort and weakened by Gondolfs spells I collapsed. Rhaenaan, Ragland and Jaspernak with our new freinds continued on. Soon Rhaenaan fell to the grand effort. And then Ragland. Soon after that Jaspernak was taken down a great monster.
Now, Zar was with strangers, traveling through dangerous lands. But thes good people brought him valiantly through. Dropping off one by one to fatigue. Soon only Moya was left. By this time they were almost to Fairhaven and safty but, that evil Gandolf froze them in there tracks and foating in the water, The journey was over.
Tonight we will give this great effort one more try and bring Zar home from Fairhaven.
Ps. See its all Gandolfs fault
The Saga of Zar
Re: The Saga of Zar
The Saga of Zar (Gandolfs Fault Part II)
With the evil still cast upon poor Zar, utterly floating helplessly in the waters of Tryker, he still needs to come home. Braveheart, the mighty warrior, failed to let everyone in on his little secret part of this quest, it was he, yes he, that pointed out the dark little kami that said "Do you want me to send you to the far away lands" and away to Zora we went... Then with my specialized abilities took them under my spell and we went on an adventure, died, then tried and well....
Poor Zar still needs to get home, so we are calling all of our brothers and sisters to help him, taking him out of the waters and back to the desert....
Hail ATYS.........
PS
This is Gandolf replying on behalf of Braveheart's PC.........

Re: The Saga of Zar
Saga of ZAR The final push home.
We last left our wayward traveler stranded with his noble guide and protector Moyra in the waters south of Fairhaven where he had been frozen in his tracks by the mischievous caster Gandolf.
Yes, I said mischievous. As it turns out. Gandolf is not evil at all. He was simply having some fun with Zar. And there is more. It has been reveiled that there is no possible way that Gandolf would let anything seriously bad happen to Zar. Because his mother would kill him. Thats right dear readers, Zar is Gandolfs brother. Once she found out that Gandolf was having fun at Zars expence funtime was over.
With a new sence of purpose Gandolf became possessed with the job of getting Zar home. He quickly swam out from Fairhave to rescue his brother. Finding him alone on a beech near death from exhaustion he begain to cast upon him the most potient healing spells he knew and, soon Zar was awake, alert and ready to continue his journey home.
At Fairhaven they rested and Gandolf sent out a call to all who would listen. Hearing this call, faithful freinds Rheanaan, leonis and the valiant Moyra called back saying that they could help. But they would have to wait a while in Fairhaven. We cannot wait Gandolf responded. Meet us along the way where you can. They agreed they would meet in Yrkanis.
I heard the call myself. I was racked with guilt for pointing out that damed little black Kami that brought Zar to Zora so, I ported to Fairhaven to regain my honor. Upon arriving I found that brave heros Jaspernak, Khayne and Ronstorm had ported, without fear of the danger ahead, and were teamed up ready to leave.
Not realy knowing the way, we set off. leaving Fairhaven behind we headed north to Avendale and from there to the maze of sprite. I had only been this way once myself and followed without question. We made our way fighting and dieing many times. The Mighty Khayne then stepped foward to the point and led the way bringing us past the maze of sprite, then north through Verdent Heights all the way to Yrkanis. It was a terrible and exhusting journey. We all rested there while we waited for the others to arrive.
After some time our heros could wait not longer. Glory calls to us Fyros, they said. There are those with no help coming to them like you. We take our leave to do battle in Fryos. And before we could thank them they were gone.
Before long our good and faithful guild leader Rhaenaan arrived. And, then came the great Moyra. Kind and loyal Leonis it seems only had port to the Abyss of Ichor and had to sacrifice himself to get there. We would met him there.
The distance from Ichor port to Kipucka plains is not far but it was the most dangerous we traveled since Fairhaven.
Moyra lead the way. We followed in silence. Only now and then did we here from Zar who it seems had bought some spirits in Yrkanis and by now was well on his way to happy ha ha land. Skillfully we made our way only fighting once or twice untill we reached the torbak corner. We begain to fight our way through and then disaster. We were stormed by every beast in the land it seemed. Too many to fight and nowhere to run we died there.
Back at the Abyss port, beaten and bloody, we decided to give it a rest for the night and pick up the next day.
There was no rest for Gandolf that night. He couldn't bare the thought of not geting his brother home. So, that night he cast a spell and traded places with his brother. The next day he could not wait. Without a word and, in his brothers body he headed out into the the desert. Moyra saw Zar leaving and follow her freind out and together they made there way back to Fryos.
When they arrived Gandolf, in Zars body, thanked Moyra for all she had done and bid her fairwell. He then cast himself back into his own body ported home and woke his brother. Upon waking Zar robbed his eyes looked around and said, Oh! where here thats great! Sorry I got so drunk. Gee! I don't even rememder that last part of the trip. Hey Gandolf! he said. You hungry? Im hungry. Lets go home and get somthing to eat. Gandolf just smiled. He helped his brother to his feet and they walked into Pyr together.
This is a true story( with a lttle poetic license ) so, I want to thank all of you who helped Zar get home to Pyr. I know there are some who helped a great deal in the begining who were not named. Just let me tell tou all this. YOUR THE BEST!!!

Re: The Saga of Zar
To give proper credit the early part of the journey which began in Zora we were accompanied by not only fyros and guild members such as Rhaenaan, Braveheart, Ragland, and Ryzorski, but also brave and compassionate Zorai such as Brithlem, Mekos, Sadma, Kako, Moyra and Tetrasodium. And let's not forget our lone Tryker Aelvana. (perhaps there is hope for peace with our small friends?) Give them a shout if you see them in your travels.
The rest of the story is well documented already and I will not repeat it here. Suffice it to say we are deeply grateful to family and friends alike for their help in this quest. Three cheers!
Welcome home Zar.
