Whats your "perfect PvP" ? suggestion for the Devs....

First I know this is the third thread about PvP. I think both of the other threads are too centered toward "are you pro or against PvP ?", what I want to know now is how would you want the PvP in Ryzom, after all it was announced since beta that the game was going to have PvP. I dont want opinions on GvG or outpost, the main source of frictions is PvP.

Personnaly the most enjoyable PvP for me would be all out faction based PvP with availible PvP immunity. If you dont want to be PKed you put immunity on, if you want to fight you put immunity off. I think this would please most players.

PvP immunity could work really good by just making titles that have immunity and titles that dont.

Thats my "perfect PvP", whats yours ?

I like zoned pvp very much, this will trigger a lot of content and spontanius events, wich is what I like v. much.

I give you all an example of another rpg I've played (called Dransik): At one point a player decided to call an isolated island as his own, killing everyone that entered it and posted his screenshots of his kills and his few defeats on the forums.
He did hold the island succesfully for over 2 months (as I recall correctly) an kept the community rather entertained by his "quest".

I think SoR will see such things happening real soon when pvp is allowed in specific zones.

I don't think random killing will happen much, since SoR is quite guild oriented. As a result you sure would think twice to kill a harvester in the roots .. you may start a long lasting guild war!

Maybe because its an important aspect of the game and everyone dont agree. I think we should stop disgussing "Pro or against PvP" and start trying to find a consensus, thats why I started another thread about it.

xcomvic looks to be one of the few gankers we will have.... id like to know is name in game so I can start pulling mobs to him...

Anyway he's just a little frustrated newbie killer...


I do think this post was started with a different view of the problem (for those who believe theres one)

Im no carebear and i love PvP, i just want to see if the community is able to find an easily implemented consensus about PvP. A way to make everyone happy, the devs and the community.

Please Ignore the kid and keep replying in an intelligent way. The devs are presently looking for players output about PvP. I started this thread to give them some good opinion, so they dont have to read all the "pro or against PvP post"
