Howdy all, just wanted to bring a certian idea of mine to light...
As a new player in Saga Of Ryzom, I found things somewhat difficult to adjust to at first. Soon after though, I started picking things up, and I became more and more familiar with the game mechanics. However, there reached a point for me (and I suspect, a lot of other players) where we have to get ready to get off the nooby island, and get ready for the ML. We've all heard the horror stories- "It's so hard, you can't do it alone" etc..
So, why not have a guild of players new to the mainland that work together to fight, harvest, and craft. We'd have daily/bi-daily hunting groups, where we could work together to help level eachother. Those same groups would also function as escorts for harvesters, which would in turn provide the mats they find to the guild's crafters, who then craft for the whole guild.
And, one thing that I had in mind was this:
The guild's purpose is to help new players. Once you reach a certian point where you are comfortable with the game, your levels, and your knowlage, you can leave for bigger and better things. While it is nice to have a small core of experienced players to serve as guides to newer players, the guild is primaraly for new players to help eachother, and after a certian point, one would not really benifit, and would want to move on to more challenging experiences.
As long as you were helped, and you in turn helped others, then my mission, and the mission of the guild would bu fufilled. Please send me an ingame mail (or, if you want, a mail to hklown@gmail.com). Also, if you have questions/comments, please post em here

Good idea, I have sent you an email to your email address with a longer conversation because I'm very interested in this type of guild because those who help others help themselves and therefore enrich the life of all.
