To the devs: Rites?
To the devs: Rites?
Alright, I admit I'm not grasping 100% (but close) this whole rites thing and learning about Atys stuff. But, I have a question regarding it, or more a suggestion. When higher level characters, or the older ones in general, learn what they learn, they should be able to pass some of this information on to younger generations. That's how knowledge has advanced here on earth so I think it would help the progression of the story a little quicker (of course the devs would have to keep up
). I'm not saying everything should be passed on, for example, abilities, titles, etc. which also may come out of it. But the actual knowledge should be. Maybe even restrictions, like only people within guilds can share or you have to be a certain level in a certain skill to be able to understand this from other characters, may help things from getting out of hand. As I said, I'm not totally sure how this will work beins I haven't used it yet, but this is just a suggestion as the devs are still working on it.
But by the way, you've made a great game, thanks!

Re: To the devs: Rites?
No need to have it passed down. You simply have to become friendly with a tribe to learn them. If you don't take the time to become friendly with them, why should you be able to learn their ways?

Re: To the devs: Rites?
Ah, sorry I was a bit harsh before. When they say knowledge they mean skills (for the most part). Just like your can't pass skills on to other players now, you won't be able to with the new stuff. If you want the rewards, you have to do the work.sk8rss wrote:I'm not sure how it's going to work so I just had suggestions...
